Alyssa Hames (she/her) is an Evaluation Assistant and Operations Lead at the Learning Collaborative Institute (LCI), where she plays a role in advancing research and operational processes that support organizational growth and impact. In her role as Evaluation Assistant, Alyssa is responsible for creating study materials, leading procedures, organizing reports, and coding data to amplify student voices in research. She focuses on ensuring that unique individual perspectives are effectively represented in evaluations and studies.
In addition to her evaluation work, Alyssa serves as the Operations Lead, where she oversees pipeline attainment, manages communications with shareholders, and hosts collaborative Convenings and meetings. These gatherings allow stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and obtain alignment between operational goals and research objectives. This responsibility looks at exploring the history of the organization and delve into possible future achievements.
Alyssa is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Positive Organizational Psychology and Evaluation at Claremont Graduate University, building on her Bachelor's in Psychology and minor in Law and Society. Her academic background, combined with her professional experience in diverse populations, has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of both research practices and organizational development. Alyssa is dedicated to focus a collaborative approach to data practices, where research insights are able to be translated into actions for improving organization and education outcomes.
With a passion for promoting equity and enhancing organizational performance, Alyssa’s work spans various aspects of both qualitative and quantitative evaluation.
