LCI Abroad: Presenting at the 2024 European Evaluation Society Biennial Conference

As evaluators turned social impact partners, we know the value of evaluative thinking and developmental evaluation in driving equitable social change. At the upcoming European Evaluation Society (EES) Conference in Rimini, Italy, the Learning Collaborative Institute (LCI) will present its Learning Collaborative Framework©, aimed at driving social justice and promoting the role of evaluators in collaborative efforts.

The LC Framework© focuses on evidence-based collaboration and consists of seven key principles and elements that build strong relationships, improve teamwork, and foster lasting systems change. Developed over nine years and proven to advance equity, this Framework positions evaluators as essential partners in projects focused on social impact. It can be applied across various sectors to support more effective and equitable, collaborative work and outcomes.

During our presentation, LCI will highlight specific skills and tools that uniquely position evaluators as effective partners for Collaboratives. We will also discuss some challenges and pitfalls that collaborators face in this space, suggest solutions based on the validated LC Framework©, and invite further insights from participants. In our panel, we’ll share practical methods for how the LC Framework© can be applied by evaluators, giving attendees a better understanding of how evaluators can support collaborative projects and drive meaningful, equitable change.

We hope to see you there! We look forward to sharing our respective insights and learnings.
